The landscape allows the waterways to expand freely, while the snowy winters guarantee significant and stable water levels in the summer season. The fishing season begins in June and lasts until the end of August, depending on weather conditions.
The waters have naturally amber shades, due to the presence of tannins released by the decomposition of the rich surrounding vegetation. The bottom appears dark, though the water remains transparent.
It is at the beginning of July that we can find massive May flies hatch that stimulate the food frenzy of greylings, brown trout and whitefish. In this season, there is also a massive presence of extremely vigorous and aggressive pikes of significant size.
